# What are stories?

Stories help share with people who have paid it forward the impact of their donations. They close the loop, so that people know exactly where their money has gone and are motivated to pay it forward again.
These are an important part of the GoGenerosity model as these increase the total money paid forward, therefore increasing the impact to you and those in your community.

Check out our [stories page](https://www.gogenerosity.com/stories?hsLang=en). Your stories will appear on your Generosity hub on our [charity marketplace](https://www.gogenerosity.com/marketplace/charity-partners?hsLang=en).

GoGenerosity collects stories via any method of contact, email, phone call, social media messaging, etc.

You can also share stories of impact and say thanks to your business partner [here](https://www.gogenerosity.com/say-thanks?hsLang=en#feedback). You will also have the opportunity to share stories when you confirm your distributions.
