# What are the requirements for a GoGenerosity-Shopify gift card?

## Requirements when creating a gift card for charity partners via a Shopify store

1. **Expiry Date**: **a minimum of three months from the creation date**  
   Why? Charities are encouraged to redeem quickly (within a month) but sometimes they need a bit of extra time.
2. **Assigned customer**: **must be assigned to GoGenerosity support team** (support@gogenerosity.com)   
   Why? This instantly sends the voucher to our support team who will log the voucher and send to your charity partner within one working day?  
   How? Create a new customer using the email above.
