# How to stop GoGenerosity pay-it-forward product from being discounted?

Creating and applying discounts for special types of sales (e.g. Black Friday) should exclude the GoGenerosity Pay-it-forward product.

Recommendation:

If applying a general discount across the storefront: use “Amount off Products” instead of “Amount off Order”.

“Amount off Products” allows for products or product ranges/collections to be included whilst excluding other products, eg: GoGenerosity Pay-it-forward product.
